The India AI Impact Summit 2026 organized by India at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, marked itself as the first global AI summit in the history of the Global South. However, this particular AI summit was different because it came after other summits held at Bletchley Park, Seoul, and Paris. However, the main difference here is that this summit was organized in the Global South, giving voice to underdeveloped countries and billions of people. India has always been known for being one of the biggest sources of technology talents in the world.
Through the organizing of AI Impact Summit 2026, India became recognized as a technology leader and a global organizer of conferences. Moreover, it is ready to participate in writing the rules of the coming AI era rather than obeying them.
